Movie Description:

    Alan gets a map to some war treasure which the Japanese army left behind on a small Pacific island at the end of World War II. But some gangsters try to steal the map from him and so he hides on Charlie's boat which just leaves the harbor. He manipulates the ship's compass so that Charlie is not aware that he is sailing to the treasure island. But when they step on the island, they discover that it is not as abandoned as they believed: there are some natives - and a Japanese soldier still defending the treasure.

Movie that will leave you speechless

Acc. To me , this is best movie in its genre. I watched this due to its high score in imdb. I had great expectations from this movie, and it is just amazing. Acting is just fabulous. Both actors are perfect for their role in the movie. It has all elements which a movie needs to be perfect. Some scenes are legendary. Overall, this movie just made my day.

Tired of western cinema? Check out Indian movies

As a westerner I have grown extremely unsatisfied with the plot and charachter development in western cinema. I have been watching Indian movies and Vikram Vedha strikes a cord that misses in western cinema. It asks questions vital to our urge to rationalize the world arounf us. What is ethical and what is not? The screenwriter leaves the question to each of us in the ending standoff scene, so that it is up to us to decide on what is right and wrong. The cast is wonderful giving their best. There are no unrealistic action scenes and the cinematography is on a high level. The only thing that would make the movie better is some better music, the choice of songs was pretty poor.

Best suspense thriller with a fantastic story line.

The acting, direction, cast is just super. It's one of the top movies from India. Veda and Vikram have acted superbly. The storyline of the movie is engaging. The more you watch the more you get lost into the characters.
